December 2, 2023 - Beaconsfield Koshiki tournament WE ARE BACK. Downtown Montreal, 'Hands-on' self-defence workshops for Secondary 1, 2 & 3 boys & girls. 65 participants attended our 3 NO 'Non-sense' personal safety workshops. June 21 & 22, 2021. September 19, 2020. Small group 'hands-on' women & teens self-defence workshop. Good to be back once again empowering these wonderful people. Lesson learnt - Depend on your animal, survival instincts....disrupt his plan any which way you can. Your resistance strategies fall into 3 basic categories: verbal, physical and passive resistance (feinting illness, acting crazy, urinating, etc.). Empowerment through 'hands-on' attack simulations. A big thank you to Professor Almeida for a wonderful Jiu-Jitsu vacation. Training two times a day at his club. An unforgettable experience.
