Koshiki Karate tournament - Mirabel, Qc. March 23, 2024. Super performance from our adult students : Mike & Vlad who at our Beaconsfield karate & Jiujitsu club participated in the Mirabel Koshiki tournament. Both reached the winners podium: MIKE (wearing glasses) won GOLD in the adult organe & yellow belt Fighting division & SILVER in the Kata section. Vlad won GOLD in the Kata division (he did not fight due to an eye injury). Hard work certainly pays off. BRAVO! Mirabel Koshiki Karate Cup, March 23, 2024. Five of our children students from the Beaconsfield Karate & Jiujitsu club participated in the Mirabal Koshiki Karate Cup and 4 medals were brought home. L-R: Gideon (Silver - Kata), Liam (Gold Kata & Silver fighting), Emma (Bronze - fighting). Well done to all who participated in the tournament.

March 11, 2023 - Mirabel Koshiki tournament with over 75 competitors. Five (5) members of our Beaconsfield Karate and Jim-Jitsu club participated in this safety contact karate tournament. They brought home 7 medals: SAULE (left side, orange belt) - gold in Kata, silver in fighting; NICOLAS (2nd on left - orange belt) - bronze in fighting; NOAH (children's yellow belt) - silver in fighting; VLAD (white belt) - bronze in fighting; MIKE (far right, white belt) - bronze in Kata and gold in fighting. So proud of our Beaconsfield team members. Hard work and a dedicated, disciplined training regiment pays off. www.manoli.ca

Most attacks end up in a horizontal position (ground, bed, table...). Know what to do if brought to the ground. Oct. 2019 Canada post, women empowerment day in Three Rivers, Qc. Feb. 10, 2019 We worked on various hands-on attack simulations including: someone we know, someone we don't know, confined spaces, blindfold attacks and of course standing brought to the floor, lying down and any attack their little heart desired.
