Thirty six 'hands-on' attack simulation oriented self-defence classes given to 155 secondary 4 and 5 girls. What an experience these girls are living. No holds barred scenarios implicating someone they know, someone they don't know, sexual harassment, confined spaces...Empowerment at its finest, giving these girls realistic options when confronted. www.manoli.ca Karate training outside the Beaconsfield Recreation Center. First training session after the lockdown, what a joyous occasion. Distancing was respected and the session was divided up into warmups, basics, Makiwara on the shields attached to the trees and Kata. A different training mind set.
