Marie Clarac, January to April 2022. Thirty six 'hands-on' attack simulation oriented self-defence classes given to 155 secondary 4 and 5 girls. What an experience these girls are living. No holds barred scenarios implicating someone they know, someone they don't know, sexual harassment, confined spaces...Empowerment at its finest, giving these girls realistic options when confronted. www.manoli.ca The simulated attacks are 'Crazy, real'. Collège Charlemagne (Montreal, West island), women's 'hands-on' self defence course given over 6 weeks as an after school activity. These girls were psyched and motivated to 'Do whatever it takes' to deal with the dangerous simulations they were confronted with. Hats off to all of them. They were an inspiration. May 1, 2019.
