Mirabel Koshiki Karate Cup, March 23, 2024. Five of our children students from the Beaconsfield Karate & Jiujitsu club participated in the Mirabal Koshiki Karate Cup and 4 medals were brought home. L-R: Gideon (Silver - Kata), Liam (Gold Kata & Silver fighting), Emma (Bronze - fighting). Well done to all who participated in the tournament. Beaconsfield Rec Center Collège Charlemagne (Montreal, West island), women's 'hands-on' self defence course given over 6 weeks as an after school activity. These girls were psyched and motivated to 'Do whatever it takes' to deal with the dangerous simulations they were confronted with. Hats off to all of them. They were an inspiration. May 1, 2019.
