Dec. 12, 2023 attended a BJJ workshop with master Evanri Gurgel from Arena BJJ Brazil. A wonderful learning experience from a 7th degree coral belt. Hoping to see him again one day. The simulated attacks are 'Crazy, real'. Blind folded and brought down to the ground by the attacker. Collège Charlemagne (Montreal, West island), women's 'hands-on' self defence course given over 6 weeks as an after school activity. These girls were psyched and motivated to 'Do whatever it takes' to deal with the dangerous simulations they were confronted with. Hats off to all of them. They were an inspiration. May 1, 2019.
