Mirabel Koshiki Karate Cup, March 23, 2024. Five of our children students from the Beaconsfield Karate & Jiujitsu club participated in the Mirabal Koshiki Karate Cup and 4 medals were brought home. L-R: Gideon (Silver - Kata), Liam (Gold Kata & Silver fighting), Emma (Bronze - fighting). Well done to all who participated in the tournament. Châteauguay women's "hands-on" no-holds barred self-defence workshop. These ladies were tough! A pleasure to have worked with them. A warrior mind set and a killer instinct. April 30, 2023 www.manoli.ca Karate & Jiu-Jitsu training outside in our beautiful, snowy wonderland. A different world when wearing boots, gloves and trying to grapple, punch and kick. A good experience was had by all participants. Rolling for an hour with these beasts. 5 minute rounds, 1 minute rest between rounds. What an honour and privilege to roll with two black belts, a purple belt and two blue belts. Against the black belts, the song says it all - "killing me softly..." with their BJJ, the others take no survivors. So fortunate to be able to find such a school and such nice people.
