Is your child or teenager being bullied?
Is your child or teenager being bullied? Mr. Manoli can help your family effectively deal with this stressful problem. He has been guiding and training children, teens and adults on how to handle confrontational and bullying situations for over 30 years.
The results are far reaching and extremely effective for he teaches people using ‘hands-on’ bullying simulations and scenario based training.
The child/teen will learn to swim by swimming; you learn to deal with bullies by effectively and efficiently handling bullying situations in a controlled environment with an experienced and dedicated instructor.
During the hands-on, one-on-one bully-proofing sessions, mistakes can be made, corrected, visualized and fine-tuned in order to properly give the victimized child the necessary, realistic tools to assertively handle the bullying encounters they will be confronted with at school, playground or during social gatherings.
Together, you will learn as a family (parents, siblings and victim)
As a family, a team, you learn to support and encourage each other with the various assertiveness training exercises and scenario based training Mr. Manoli will encourage you to do.
His no-nonsense, hands-on training approach will help the victim and the family members deal with the stress associated with bullying. Training sessions are adapted to the client’s character and personality. Together, as a family, you will have a clear, effective and easy to apply anti-bullying strategy.
Through ‘Adrenal Stress Training,’ the bullied child or teen having done over and over, many realistic confrontational scenarios with Mr. Manoli, will now know what to do and how to do it when the time comes to deal with the bully.

Other long-term options available to you
Mr. Manoli runs his own Karate and Bully-proofing program at the Beaconsfield Recreation Centre. This ongoing program comes to us from the USA and is offered on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. It has proven to be very effective with many of our students who have used its non-violent but assertive methods.
The program teaches students to initially verbally negotiate and assertively warn the bully to stop the teasing or hurtful actions. If the taunting continues, they are taught to stand-up for themselves during the confrontation. They use assertive body language and small, clear, straight to the point words in order to diffuse the confrontation they are facing.
If the bullying does not stop, they are taught to close the distance, grab the bully and bring him down to the ground, control and dominate him on the ground, negotiate verbally what will happen next if the bully does not stop bothering them (never striking or injuring the bully). The decision of what happens next is up to the bully. The targeted child is well prepared for all eventualities.
The bully-proofing training program at the Beaconsfield Recreational Centre offers the option on Saturday mornings for parents to train alongside their child or sit and watch their child in action. Please refer to the ‘Karate and Bully-proofing’ program on this site for more detailed information on the program.
